Pastor Otis Leftwich

1934 - 2013

Beloved  educator, spiritual leader, family man and civil rights statesman.

Pastor Otis (left) shown with his son Devin who is now the senior pastor of Vessels of His Love church in Wheaton (IL), his daughter-in-law Lisa, and his wife of 50 years, Pastor Thelma.

In 1993, a small group began gathering in the home of Pastors Otis and Thelma, resulting in the incorporation of Vessels of His Love Church. While many things have changed throughout the years, and the foretold future has yet to welcome many things; One thing has remained. God has been faithful to His Word and we have remained committed to His call and our assigned mission: “Covering the earth with the Blood of Jesus."
